Audience Participation

One of the things that I think will be so interesting about this is seeing how I can deal with situations as they come up where I will need to be inventive in order to stay within the confines experiment. However, in thinking about this last night, I started to worry that perhaps there would be more days than not where the blog will simply be me stating, "OH MY GOD I'M SO BORED BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE COUPONS AND CAN'T DO ANYTHING!"

That's when I thought, ok, perhaps I have a little experiment within the experiment. Something to up the anty, so to speak. That is where you come in, dear readers. What I need from you is your suggestions for mini-challenges that will make my days and this blog more interesting. Be creative! Make them easy. Make them difficult. Just make them!

Comments on this blog are moderated in order to keep creepy spam and mean things out of my blogosphere, but I will read every single one of them. If I get enough suggestions, I may do a reader poll for what challenge I will do next!

I'm sure you could find a coupon for this - go to a museum or some other cultural activity!

You are a crafty dessert genius... I think it would be awesome if you could create an ice cream cake, complete with some sort of celebratory wish on the icing- all with stuff bought using coupons. So, maybe you have to make your own ice cream or icing, or piping bags... and then I'd like to sample it. :)

Here's another one. Dinner for four: a three course meal- appetizer, entree (with at least some type of meat, not necessarily as the main dish), and dessert (not ice cream cake).

All of my challenges to you are food related. What does that mean?? Dinner and a movie- for less than $3 per person. And since there are 4 people in my family... let's try dinner for 4 and a movie for less than $3 per person. Are you up for the challenge??

LOL - Mary, with coupons, one immediately thinks groceries and food. It's ok. But remember: This experiment is not necessarily about saving money. I'm only trying to figure out what one can do with coupons, not how cheaply it can get done. :-)
